BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
Metro and a consortium of local governments are seeking proposals for digital aerial orthophotos. Metro’s Data Resource Center (DRC) has been providing research services and data products to the region’s cities and counties for the past 30 years. Digital orthophotos have been collected annually since 1996. Digital photos collected by fixed wing aircraft and processed to remove distortion are very important to Consortium member organizations and the public. Data quality is a key consideration. Consistent capture schedules and timely delivery are additional priorities.
